Ready for one of the more spectacular vistas in the park? Then take the journey to Eagle Cliff!  Spectacular views of the Illinois river to the east are the order of the day here.  Children may enjoy seeing boats pilot through the Starved Rock locks from here. This is one of the more popular overlooks in the park, so come early before the crowds, or even come in the winter when the snow gives the landscape a frosty makeover.
